Recent Obsession: Victoria's Secret.

I went on a slight spending spree last week from Victoria's Secret. I normally order online because every VS store has something different and they NEVER have what I'm looking for! Here's what I bought...

I loveee this swimsuit! It fits so well. My only issue is the back does not tie and it's kinda tight.

The other swimsuit I bought was no longer on the website because it was only like 12 dollars, but this one is pretty much the same one. I love it! It's very comfortable.

I've never worn a VS "Bra-top" but after I received this in the mail and tryed it on, I will DEFINITELY buy another one! It's so comfy and looks really good on me! :) I'm thinking about getting several different colors in this style. I love one-shouldered tops!

I'm quite "iffy" about buying pants, shorts, jeans, etc on the internet because I'm always afraid they wont fit. After I looked at the size chart for these particular pants I came to the conclusion that a Medium would be my size. WELL, let's just say those "medium" pants would fit me PERFECTLY if I gained about 50 lbs. I'm not even kidding. I was so dissapointed! So, I'm sending them back today!! They look so good in the picture, but they failed to mention how big the sizes were and how WIDE they were!

I've made quite a few purchases at VS just so I could get the "Secret Reward Card" that is worth at least $10, but could be worth 50, 100, or even 500 dollars! :) Hopefully I'll hit the jackpot and have the $500 card! Haha

Best Eyeshadows EVER!

If you haven't heard about "Coastal Scents" they have the most awesome eyeshadows! Most of the eyeshadow palettes come with 88 shadows. They have several different palettes- I have the Metal Mania, Ultra Shimmer, Warm, and the Original palettes.

Helpful hint: Always use an eyeshadow primer such as Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion before applying the eyeshadows!

... and... Voilá! Since I had a day off today, I decided to take extra time to do my makeup all pretty. :) By the way, my eye liner is Merle Norman's Cream Liner in Black... it's my favorite liner I've ever used! It goes on very smooth.

Quick Rant. :)

Let me set up a scenario for you.

An old friend called me the other day (we'll call the 'old friend' Jordan) and told me that he/she was mad at... we'll call her "Elizabeth." Jordan began telling me all kinds of horrible things about Elizabeth and how her family hates her and she did this and did that. Jordan went on and on and on about Elizabeth. Which is fine, I'm not gonna tell anyone what Jordan said. I probably stayed on the phone nearly and hour and a half hearing all of these horrible things that Elizabeth did. I probably should have stopped Jordan from telling me everything but some of the things Jordan was telling me was just TOO GOOD. haha. The next day, Jordan updates his/her  Facebook status and says, "So excited to have lunch with my BFF Elizabeth tomorrow!" Wait, What?!

Okay, so this is why I don't have many close friends. Alot of people are backstabbers. I want so badly to tell "Elizabeth" that "Jordan" isn't a true friend but it's not my place. I can't even tell you how many true friends I've had. Mainly because it's been so rare. This is also a reason I don't have a girl best friend. I'd love to have someone to shop with, get my nails done with, or have a "girls day/night out" with. Don't get me wrong, I do have a few girl-friends but I don't have that best friend. Most girls are just standoff-ish and secretive and shady. Maybe true friendship vanishes after 4th grade, who knows.

An Unexpected Tragedy...

Last night I received a horrible phone call that Brittany was killed in a car accident...  Brittany always had a very cheerful attitude and a smile on her face. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and teacher. She impacted so many lives in the most positive ways, and was a strong Christian woman. Brittany also had a beautiful baby boy who was in the car with her... he passed away later that night. Shep (her son) was the most precious thing ever! He always had a cute little smirk on his face and was constantly giggling. My heart aches so badly for the whole family. I've grown close to them and know how wonderful they are... and the fact they have to go through this breaks my heart. There's nothing anyone can do or say to ease the pain they are feeling. Only God has the ability to comfort them during this tough time. So please pray. Pray for the whole family, they were very close. Pray for all of the people affected by this horrible incident. And please... pray for her husband who lost his wife and only child. The Lord works in mysterious ways, and we will never be able to understand those ways. I know for certain that Brittany is in Heaven holding her baby boy.

Brittany and baby Shep are there. And though it's hard, we should rejoice.

Mini Vaca!

Josh and I will be leaving for Birmingham tomorrow. I'm extremely excited! I have family that lives in the Birmingham area, so it's always fun to go visit them! It's about a 3-4 hour drive... but if I drive it only takes a little less than 3 hours. ;) I plan on letting Josh drive though, I like to sleep the whole way. I'm looking forward to tons of shopping! I promise to blog (with actual pictures) about my weekend!
